Kukje is hands down one of my favorite grocery stores, offering a unique and different shopping experience compared to HMart. What really sets Kukje apart is their incredible prepared foods section. From fried foods and sushi to bento boxes, the selection is not only more extensive, but I believe the value and quality of their prepared foods are much better than HMart's. I can never leave without grabbing their beef kimbap and Korean fried chicken, which is always fresh, flavorful, and priced just right! Beyond their prepared foods, Kukje has an excellent produce section and a huge meat selection. Whether you're looking for fresh fruits and vegetables or high-quality cuts of meat for a Korean BBQ night, you'll find everything you need here. The store is clean, organized, and easy to shop, making it a breeze to find what you're looking for. Another great thing about Kukje is that I often find better prices and sales here compared to HMart, which makes it even more appealing for regular shopping. They also carry a wide range of houseware, Korean pantry staples, snacks, and frozen goods that can be hard to find elsewhere. While I usually start my grocery shopping at HMart, I always make my way to Kukje afterward for their superior prepared foods and great fresh selections. If you're looking for high-quality, diverse Korean groceries and unbeatable ready-to-eat meals, Kukje is the place to go! Only thing I can think of that they can improve on is their parking lot because of how tight the spots can be.

I'm not Korean but I love this place. When we head in SF I try to get my husband to stop at Kukje to grab some stuff for an easy yummy dinner. This places has everything! A little restaurant, pot and pans, veggies fruit, takeout food, and everything else you expect from a korean market including multiple types of kimchi and Banchan. Yummy. The only thing that stinks is the parking. It's very tight and people will try to steal the space you were waiting for. Good thing I can stand up for myself. However, I prefer to park on the street. The lot is tight.

I love this store! At least once a week I shop here. This store is very popular, so it takes some time to find parking , I personally park on the street . The only thing that I personally hate about this store is that there is only one cash register working at the time (rarely two). Again , this store is very popular ,so be ready to wait at least 30 minutes at cash register line.

Clean, organized, well-stocked with Korean ingredients /spices, etc. and great prepared foods to grab & go! There is also a modest restaurant tucked in a corner. Staff is efficient and food was very satisfying!
